Donald Trump is back on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. In a post, he posted his prison photo and wrote: “Election meddling. Never give up!”. This was reported by The Verge.

The day before, the former president appeared at the Fulton County Jail on more than a dozen charges related to his alleged attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 Georgia election. Over the past five months, he has been charged in four separate cases.

But the latest detention was the first and only time Donald Trump was photographed. So he took the opportunity to make his first post on the X network since January 8, 2021.

On that day, the company’s former management permanently banned him from the platform, citing a “risk of further incitement to violence” after his supporters stormed the US capital. Since then, Donald Trump has launched his own social platform, Truth Social, and Twitter has rebranded itself.

Last November, Elon Musk launched a poll asking Twitter users if they should reinstate Trump’s account. As a result, 51.8% said yes, and 48.2% said no. Notably, the former president said at the time that he didn’t need to return because Truth Social was working well and because he saw “a lot of problems with Twitter.”
