Hyundai has unveiled a new car that tries to please all fans of practicality: the Hyundai Stargazer X crossover minivan.

The term “crossover” is quite appropriate here, because the Hyundai Stargazer X has an increased ground clearance of 200 mm (15 mm more than the standard model) and also received numerous plastic plates to protect its 4.5 meter long body. Just take a look at the widened wheel arches on the body, which resembles a “space shuttle”: it looks very good!

But then the whole “crossover” ends – the Hyundai Stargazer X minivan has only front-wheel drive and is offered with a 1.5-liter 115-horsepower engine. Buyers can only choose the type of transmission: 6-speed manual or CVT.

That is to say, if we ignore the change in the chassis and the increased ground clearance, the equipment generally corresponds to the usual Hyundai Stargazer model. The same goes for the interior.

Inside, we have a front panel with an 8-inch touchscreen display and a digital instrument panel with a small 4.2-inch screen. But most importantly, we have a 6- or 7-seat cabin: in the middle row, two independent armchairs or a solid sofa can be installed. The trunk volume is 200 liters with all seats in place or 585 liters with the third row folded.

The new Hyundai Stargazer X is already available in Asian markets with a price tag of $22 thousand. I wonder if it would have prospects in Ukraine due to its practicality, in the fight against numerous compact crossovers…
