The Masonite M-PWR Smart Door was first introduced at CES 2022. It is the first residential door with a built-in Yale smart lock and Ring camera.

One of the key benefits of the M-PWR Smart Door is its connection to the home’s power grid, as most smart locks and camera doorbells need to be replaced or recharged. However, in the event of a power outage, the M-PWR Smart Door also has a built-in battery.

Fiberglass doors come in a variety of colors and designs. Costs range from $4000 to $7000. They are also equipped with LED lighting that can be activated by a motion sensor or in the proprietary M-PWR app. By the way, to use the door, you need to install three apps: the aforementioned M-PWR (you can see when the door was opened, adjust the backlight, etc.), Yale (for the built-in Yale Assure SL smart lock), and Ring (for a camera call).

The manufacturer has provided for the possibility of replacing the built-in smart components, since doors are typically installed for decades and such technologies are updated every few years.
