Traditionally, Sony starts “additional” game giveaways for more expensive PS Plus plans in the second half of the month, a few weeks after the general announcement for all packages, including the basic PS Plus Essential. The following PS4 and PS5 games will be available to Extra and Premium subscribers on August 15:

Sea of Stars (PS4, PS5) — is a turn-based role-playing game in which the developer tries to modernize the mechanics of classic RPGs in terms of combat system, story presentation, and world exploration, while offering “a little nostalgia and just having fun with the game”. Unlike the other games in the current giveaway, Sea of Stars will appear in the catalog later – on August 29, the day of its release.

Moving Out 2 (PS4, PS5) — The sequel to the humorous “moving simulator”, or rather “moving things”, is coming to PlayStation on August 15th and will be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog on launch day.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen (PS4, PS5) — is the penultimate installment of the popular multiplayer shooter that was released early last year and has received much better reviews than its predecessor, Lightfall.

Lost Judgment (PS4, PS5) — is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the second game in the spin-off of the popular Yakuza series (the last parts of which were also developed by this studio).

Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed (PS4, PS5) — is a remake of the 2006 game released last year on modern gaming systems. Destroy All Humans is a series of action-adventure games in which the player assumes the role of an evil alien trying to destroy all humans, as the title suggests.

Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition (PS4) — is a business simulator for hospital construction and management, the “spiritual successor” of the legendary Theme Hospital (1997) by Bullfrog Productions. The Jumbo Edition is a console version that includes all released add-ons.

Source of Madness (PS4, PS5) — is a side-scrolling action game set in a perverse Lovecraftian world created using procedural generation and AI.

Cursed to Golf (PS4, PS5) — an unusual combination of a golf simulator with… the roguelike genre.

Dreams (PS4) – a sandbox game where players can create all kinds of content, including new games. This month, the game is also free on all plans, including Essential.

PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night (PS4, PS5) — is a platformer set in the PJ Masks universe, an animated series based on the French children’s book series Les Pyjamasques.

Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures (PS4, PS5) — Another platformer based on animated movies, this time from the Hotel Transylvania franchise, which is owned by Sony.

Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition (PS4, PS5) — A lawnmower simulator (with licensed lawnmowers!) and the creation of your own business – building a headquarters, hiring employees, etc.

Spellforce III Reforced (PS4) — is an improved version of the third part of the famous role-playing strategy game that was released at the end of 2021 and was free for all owners of the original game.

Midnight Fight Express (PS4) — is an isometric action game in which the protagonist fights on the streets using all the means at his disposal.

In addition, the catalog of PS Plus Premium “Classics” will be expanded to include the following games: MediEvil: Resurrection (PS4, PS5), Ape Escape: On the Loose (PS4, PS5), Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice (PS4, PS5).
