Which games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog in the coming days

Microsoft has announced a new wave of additions to the Xbox Game Pass game catalog: the following games will be added to it in early August.

Already available:

Celeste (Cloud, Console, PC)
The pixel-graphic platformer that was already in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, left it in 2021 – and now is back.

 
Coming soon:

A Short Hike (Cloud, Console, PC) – August 3
An indie open world adventure game where the player has to climb to the top of a mountain to get a cell phone signal. Critics evaluated the game positively, noting the “relaxed” gameplay, the freedom of exploring the world, and the flight mechanics. Among other things, the game is available on Steam, where it has 99% favorable reviews.

Broforce Forever (Cloud, Console, PC) – August 8

A side-scroller-platformer in the “run-and-gun” subgenre with pixel graphics and very fast gameplay. The main game was released back in 2015 to rave reviews, Broforce Forever is a big update that is due out on August 8th, after which the game will immediately hit Game Pass.

Limbo (Cloud, Console, PC) – August 9
The famous puzzle-platformer, the debut project of the Danish indie studio Playdead, released back in 2010, was very warmly received by the gaming community and received numerous nominations and awards from critics.

Airborne Kingdom (Cloud, Console, PC) – August 10
An unusual city-building simulator in which the player must build and maintain… a mobile flying city.

Everspace 2 (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S) – August 15

Fast-paced single-player space simulator with a plot. Everspace 2 was released on PC back in spring (and then got to PC Game Pass), and in August the game will be available on consoles and in the “cloud”.

Please also note that the following games will leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog on August 15: Death Stranding (PC), Edge of Eternity (Cloud, Console, PC), Midnight Fight Express (Cloud, Console, PC) and Total War: Warhammer III (PC).
