Netflix is offering high-paying AI jobs as actors and writers continue to strike in Hollywood. This was reported by Engadget.

The streaming service has announced a vacancy for a machine learning platform product manager. This position provides an annual salary of $300-900 thousand, while many actors earn about $200 a day.

The announcement states that AI will be used to “create great content” and not just develop new algorithms to recommend shows and movies.

The announcement also hints at Netflix’s far-reaching efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into “every area of the business.” A separate section on the company’s website states that Netflix uses AI “to optimize the production of original movies and TV shows.”

This is not the only job related to artificial intelligence that promises a gigantic salary. According to The Intercept, Netflix is also hiring a CTO of generative AI for its growing game studio with an annual salary of up to $650,000.

It was previously reported that Hollywood studios want to get AI copies of actors to use them for free and without time limits. This proposal was made by the Alliance of Film and Television Producers (AMPTP). Considering the situation, Hollywood actors announced a strike. Because of this, Hollywood film production temporarily stopped.
