Recently, the Japanese presented the Subaru BRZ coupe in a special tS version: this is a kind of “factory tuning” that has many interesting technical changes. They are almost invisible from the outside, but they are important for driving a car. That is, is this the case when engineers, and not marketers, were the main ones?!

It all starts with the exterior of the Subaru BRZ tS coupe, where you can note… well, almost nothing. The special edition Subaru BRZ tS draws attention only with matching logos on the front and rear, as well as dark rims with bright brakes inside.

This is where it gets interesting, as one of the most important changes to the Subaru BRZ tS is BREMBO brakes with enlarged discs and 4-piston calipers up front. The suspension has also changed: HITACHI shock absorbers and specific STI settings are used, which should improve the handling of the car.

After all, in the case of the Subaru BRZ tS coupe, cornering weighs no less than acceleration in a straight line. For which, by the way, a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter 228-horsepower naturally aspirated engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission is responsible.

As for the interior, there are also few changes – but they are all pleasing to the eye!

The interior of the new Subaru BRZ tS attracts attention with blue accents: stripes on the sports seats, stitching on the gear stick cover, etc. The digital instrument panel is decorated with the STI logo, iconic for Subaru fans. Well, of course, as it usually happens in such cases, the special version car is distinguished by an extended list of equipment.

Probably, we will not see the Subaru BRZ tS in the showrooms of official dealers. However, this does not prevent you from bringing the car in person – true fans will appreciate it!
