This is a frankly US-format car, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting. So, we meet the Chevrolet Traverse crossover – the third generation!

Like its predecessors, the new Chevrolet Traverse offers gigantic dimensions (about 5.2 meters in length) and a three-row interior. Like its predecessors, the Chevrolet Traverse crossover can offer several versions for buyers to choose from, among which the RS should be noted separately: gloss black and 22-inch wheels, sports suspension tuning, etc.

After all, the engine fully corresponds the requirements: under the hood of the new Chevrolet Traverse, a 2.5-liter turbo with 315 hp is installed. It will work in a pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front or all-wheel drive – depending on the configuration of the car.

Also, depending on the equipment, the interior differs in its seating formula: either “2+2+3” (more expensive equipment will offer separate seats in the second row) or the “2+3+3” option (simple equipment with a regular sofa). In any case, the interior of the Chevrolet Traverse should be very spacious and comfortable: 3-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, and many windshields are expected. In addition, large displays attract attention – an 11-inch screen acts as an instrument panel, and a 17.7-inch touch screen is installed in the center of the front panel.

Finally, we must also mention the appearance of the Z71 special version: this is the first time for the Chevrolet Traverse model. As usual in the case of Chevrolet models, such a car is distinguished by a specific preparation for overcoming off-road.

For example, the Chevrolet Traverse Z71 crossover will receive off-road tires, a suspension with increased ground clearance (+25 mm) and special shock absorbers, special “cut” bumpers with special eyelets for towing. In addition, the Chevrolet Traverse Z71 car will also receive its own “advanced” four-wheel drive system and specific control electronics settings.

The cost of the new Chevrolet Traverse will be known closer to the start of sales, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
