It finally happened! The Hyundai company presented a tuned version of the electric car Ioniq 5, which received the typical corporate designation “N”.

And along with that – the typical refinements that everyone expects from N-versions. First of all, the appearance attracts attention: the changed front bumper has received numerous aerodynamic elements, the wheel arch covers hide 21-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires, and body extensions have also been added at the back. It’s not just like that: after all, the overall width of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has increased by 50 mm, while the “tuned” electric car has become 20 mm lower than the regular version.

However, external changes are only the beginning. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N electric car even received a slightly changed body structure: 42 welding points and 2.1 meters of adhesive seams were added – all to increase the rigidity of the structure. Of course, a sports rigid suspension is used here and larger brakes are installed: with a diameter of 400 mm in front and 360 mm in the rear. The steering has also been reconfigured.

However, the most important feature of the “hot” Hyundai Ioniq 5 N electric car is its power plant: two electric motors and a total power of 478 kW or 650 hp. This guarantees acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h.

Numerous “smart” N-modes are also provided: for starting from a place, for drifting, for redistributing traction. There are two racing modes at once – one is designed for a long race, the other is configured for the fastest and most rapid race. Finally, there is even a special N-mode for the battery (84 kWh), which allows you to choose the optimal temperature of the battery to obtain maximum power. Switching between different modes – with buttons on the steering wheel.

By the way, the interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel and sports seats, and the displays show the necessary graphics and information important for dynamic driving. In addition, there is also an audio system capable of imitating various engine sounds – three options are provided.

Would you like to hear and feel how the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N drives? Wait a little longer: the electric car has just been presented, sales will start soon.
