11 Ukrainian universities made it to the QS World University Rankings 2024 international ranking

11 universities from Ukraine were included in the ranking of the best educational institutions in 2024 by QS World University Rankings. This is reported by The Village.

Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University took the highest place among Ukrainian universities (681-690), National University of Kharkiv named after Karazin (691–700) and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (731–740) made it to the top three. Next come the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (901-950) and the Lviv Polytechnic National University (951-1000).

The QS World University Rankings also included Sumy State University (951–1000), Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (1001–1200), Mechnikov Odesa National University (1001–1200), Ivan Franko Lviv National University (1201–1400), Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (1201–1400) and National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine (1201–1400).

In total, this rating covers 1,500 universities from 104 cities around the world. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford universities are recognized as the best institutions of higher education.

QS World University Rankings is considered one of the most global university rankings. It evaluates the citation of scientific publications, the number of foreign students, as well as the attitude towards graduates in the labor market.
