Nova Poshta has reduced the minimum cost of delivering parcels from Ukraine to the USA by four times. This is reported by the press service of the postal operator.
The company has introduced gradation of tariffs for parcels with weight, where there is a step of 100 g. Now its customers will not pay within the weight categories up to 2 kg, up to 10 kg and up to 30 kg, as before, there will be a different price for 0.1 kg , 0.4 kg, 1.5 kg, etc.
Delivery of documents up to UAH 100 now costs UAH 350 instead of UAH 1,300, a 0.5 kg parcel costs UAH 650 instead of UAH 1,400, and a 15 kg shipment costs UAH 4,600 instead of UAH 6,800. Such pricing will be uniform for both private and business customers.
“We want to help Ukrainian businesses to successfully export their goods around the world, so we agreed with our partners on a significant change in tariffs to the USA for our customers, 70% of whom send shipments weighing less than 2 kg. The US market has excellent prospects for development. In addition, the duty-free threshold for importing goods here is $800, that is, everything below this value is delivered without additional customs payments for the recipient,” noted CEO of Nova Poshta Global Yurii Benevytskyi.
The company added that most often Ukrainians sell their goods in the USA through online platforms – Amazon, eBay, etsy. The most popular Ukrainian goods among American consumers are national clothes and products with Ukrainian symbols, home decor, handmade and craft goods – souvenirs, jewelry, accessories.
The delivery time in the USA is from 10 days. You can send a parcel from any Nova Poshta office. To do this, you can independently create an international invoice through the mobile application and business profile, or the operator will help you it in the post office.
