Of course! If in doubt, then take a look at the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate station wagon, which complements the line of the recently presented Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan.

Similar to the sedan, the new station wagon is made not just as a successor to the already known “Estate-versions”, but also as a successor to the Mercedes-Benz CLS. This is indicated by the dynamic and, at the same time, elegant silhouette formed by numerous streamlined lines and an elongated body.

After all (also similar to the sedan), the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate station wagon significantly increased during the generation change: the total length reached about five meters. In addition, the increased to 2.96-meter wheelbase promises improved space for rear passengers – even more legroom! At the same time, the front part of the interior can offer an already well-known design with a huge touch-display panel and contour lighting.

Although, of course, in a conversation about a wagon body, there is always the question of the trunk. So, here it is: the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate promises a trunk volume of 615-1830 liters (depending on the position of the back of the second row of seats) or 460-1675 liters (for PHEV-hybrid versions).

There will be a PHEV-hybrid in the range of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate station wagon: we are talking about the E300e version, which can cover up to 100 km exclusively on electric drive. In addition, the E200 (gasoline) and E220d (diesel) versions have already been announced for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate model. Moreover, they will also receive a hybrid application in the form of an ISG module: that is, an integrated starter generator. Finally, it is worth noting that all versions of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate will receive the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate also offers pneumatic cylinders for the rear suspension as standard. Of course, this is not a complete “pneuma” (it is available as an option), but such a system helps to maintain the level of the body when loading. And the new station wagon will offer assistance systems for driving with a trailer.

So, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate turned out to be not only beautiful but also capable. We are waiting for new versions of the E-Class – and expect new interesting features!
