Another game that Ubisoft showed off during Ubisoft Forward 2023 is arcade racing The Crew Motorfest, the third part of the series The Crew from the studio Ubisoft Ivory Tower, created by the former employees of the bankrupt Eden Games (Test Drive Unlimited).

As it has long been known, instead of the entire territory of the United States, the authors of The Crew Motorfest decided to carefully recreate only one island in the game, the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian archipelago. The same one where the events of the first Test Drive Unlimited took place.

The Crew Motorfest gameplay trailer shows the various types of races that will be in the game, and it looks like the Ubisoft series is finally turning into a clone Forza Horizon 5. We can note the presence of modern Formula 1 cars of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team and a large number of electric cars.

The gameplay trailer doesn’t show the actual gameplay, but it’s made on the game’s engine and gives you an opportunity to appreciate the graphics. The Crew Motorfest looks good. At the end of this video, a very important piece of information that many may have missed is that players will be able to export their entire garage from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest. How exactly this will happen, Ubisoft will announce later, but this is really a very cool decision, which the developers of arcade car sims have not thought about until now. In total, the new game will have more than 600 cars, almost as many as in Forza Horizon 5!

The Crew Motorfest is coming to Windows PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S on September 14, 2023. Gold and Ultimate Edition owners will get a 3-day hot start. There is no Steam page for The Crew Motorfest yet, but there is one on the Epic Games Store already. It looks like the game will be a temporary Ubisoft Connect and EGS exclusive on PC.
