Blizzard continues to troll competitors in its press releases. In the latter, published by Tech Power Up, the company announces that in 5 days since the release Diablo IV earned $666 million.

Earlier, Blizzard announced that the last part of the Diablo series became the best of pre-sales on PC and console and now they published a new, slightly cheeky press release.

“On behalf of Blizzard, we want to thank the millions of players around the world who are immersing themselves in Diablo 4,” said Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Ybarra.“Diablo 4 is a result of our incredible teams working together to craft and support genre-defining games, build legendary worlds, and inspire memories that will last a lifetime. We’re humbled by the response, proud of the team, and remain committed to listening to our players and ensuring Diablo continues to exceed expectations for years to come.”

Of course, Blizzard also shared new statistics. Players have already played Diablo IV for 276 million hours, or 30,000 years. A total of 276 billion demons were destroyed, 316 million players “died” in the process.

By the way, regarding the fastest upgrading. In normal mode max character level in Diablo IV was achieved in less than 3 days, and as of now, 162 players have reached level 100 in Hardcore mode with perma-death. These are real fans.
