The new Peugeot 3008 is due to debut soon – it will probably happen in the fall of this year. But the Peugeot company has already started to tell the details of the expected novelty. For example, it is already known the interior will again be made according to the Peugeot i-Cockpit concept, but now it will be “panoramic”.
First of all, it is a large 21-inch rounded display that seems to wrap around the driver and is divided into two functional parts: the instrument panel area and the multimedia content control area. Note that the display is mounted on a hidden leg and gives the impression that it is “levitating”. The impression of levitation of the display is also emphasized with the help of contour lighting, the color of which can be chosen at will.
In addition, the Peugeot 3008 interior attracts attention with an additional block of touch switches: their functions can be adjusted according to the driver’s preferences. And the Peugeot 3008 crossover will also get a new steering wheel, which will also have touch buttons on the spokes. By the way, please note: the automatic gearbox control joystick is now installed on the display plane, to the right of the steering wheel. This freed up space on the center console and provided more space for things.
So, the new interior is the first, but certainly not the last interesting detail of the new Peugeot 3008. We are waiting for new “discoveries” and the debut of the car in general!
