The streaming service Netflix has extended the show The Witcher for another season without much publicity. This is reported by Gizmodo with reference to the casting director of the show Sophie Holland.
According to her in an interview for Deadline, filming of the fourth season of the show is about to begin.
“… and there will be a short gap, then we go straight into season five,” she added.
At the same time, she did not begin to share other details, but said that she is looking forward to how the role of the witcher Geralt will be played by Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
Recently, Netflix presented the first teaser of the third season series The Witcher. Streaming reported that the premiere of the new season will take place on June 29. It is noteworthy that in the video itself, Netflix indicated two dates, including July 27. That is, the third part of The Witcher will be divided into two parts and will be shown with a difference of a month.
The upcoming season will be an adaptation of the fourth book of the Polish writer – Time of Contempt. Even before the release of season 3 of The Witcher, Netflix announced its continuation for season 4, but without Geralt of Rivia lead actor Henry Cavill.
