Netflix has released the first teaser for The Witcher season 3 and announced its premiere date

Streaming service Netflix presented the first teaser of the third season of the series The Witcher, based on the books of the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.

Streaming reported that the premiere of the new season will take place on June 29. It is noteworthy that in the video itself, Netflix indicated two dates, including July 27. That is, the third part of The Witcher will be divided into two parts and will be shown with a difference of a month.

We will remind that the upcoming season will be an adaptation of the fourth book of the Polish writer – Time of Contempt. Netflix even before the release of season 3 of The Witcher announced its continuation for season 4, but without Geralt of Rivia star Henry Cavill. Liam Hemsworth, best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in the Hunger Games film series, was cast as the witcher.

Last year, the production of the third season of The Witcher was put on hold due to a new outbreak of Covid-19. The members of the film crew also faced this situation at the end of 2020, when due to the pandemic they had to pause the filming of the second season of the series.
