Finally, Creative Assembly abandoned the fantasy and semi-fantasy worlds and returned to the real history. The studio’s next game is Total War: Pharaoh, dedicated to ancient Egypt.
More precisely, the period of the New Kingdom from 1550 to 1069 BC. ie, this is Creative Assembly’s deepest dive into history. Bronze Age. The base game will feature 8 leaders of three nations. Egyptians Ramses, Seti, Tausret and Amenmesse; Canaanites Bay and Irsu; Hittites Kurunta and Suppiluliuma. As usual, we will be offered a deep global strategy with dynamic tactical battles and authentic combat units.
Total War: Pharaoh is scheduled for release in October 2023 as usual on PC only. The game already has a Steam page. The estimated price of the basic version will be $59.99, Deluxe Edition – $72.87, and Dynasty Edition with four upcoming DLC – $91.46. It’s Sega, so it won’t be cheaper.
