The 23-year-old Snapchat model created Caryn AI, an AI version of herself, and offers it as a “virtual girlfriend”, earning $70,000 a week

23-year-old Snapchat model Caryn Marjorie who has 1.84 million subscribers, created a voice chatbot Caryn AI based on OpenAI GPT-4 API technology, which she offers as a “virtual girlfriend” for communication and flirting. This is reported by Fortune.

The AI was trained on a video from Caryn Marjorie’s YouTube channel (the entire video has now been deleted) and took more than 2,000 hours to develop. Access to Caryn AI costs $1 per minute and, according to Fortune, the limited beta testing of the chatbot brings the girl more than $70,000 per week. After launching the full-fledged service, the chatbot can earn up to $5 million per month.

Caryn says that Caryn AI will allow her to connect with more of her social media followers because she currently can’t talk to each one of them directly.

“CarynAI is going to come and fill that gap, it can ‘cure’ loneliness,” she says in an interview with Fortune. “Caryn AI will never replace me. It’s just an extension of me, an extension of my consciousness.”

“Whether you need somebody to be comforting or loving, or you just want to rant about something that happened at school or at work, CarynAI will always be there for you,” she said.

Currently, the queue to get access to Caryn AI is 26 hours.
