The first information about the new electric car Peugeot e-2008 has just appeared, which received a changed design and technical updates. It is interesting that the main model of Peugeot 2008 should also receive such exterior and interior updates.

Which exactly? For example, the front part of the new Peugeot e-2008 now has a new extended grille that goes under the headlights. Running lights are made in the form of triple lines, which are installed in separate niches of the front bumper – by the way, it has also been changed. In addition, pay attention to the new Peugeot logo, changed lights, original wheels. Plus, as usual, the Peugeot e-2008 electric car differs from the main Peugeot 2008 model by numerous logos in the form of a stylized letter “e”.

In addition to the appearance, the electric car has also significantly improved its technical part. From now on, the Peugeot e-2008 crossover gets a more powerful electric motor for 115 kW (or 156 hp) and an increased battery for 54 kWh – the latter makes it possible to increase the range to 406 km.

Certain changes are also noticeable in the interior. The 10-inch 3D instrument panel and 10-inch central display attract the most attention – these details should be the main points of interior updates for both the Peugeot e-2008 electric car and the Peugeot 2008 petrol versions. Plus a steering wheel with a new logo and light green seat trim.

By the way, about gasoline versions and updates of the Peugeot 2008 model in general. It is already clear what the exterior and interior of the updated car will be. Questions arise only with power units. It is expected that the new Peugeot 2008 crossover will receive 1.2-liter gasoline engines with a capacity of 100 and 130 hp in combination with a manual or automatic transmission from the start of sales.

Later, a 136-horsepower hybrid based on the same 1.2-liter gasoline engine, but with the addition of an electric motor and robotic transmission, should appear for the Peugeot 2008 model. However, if regular versions of the updated Peugeot 2008 car appear before the end of this year, then the hybrid will have to wait until 2024.
