It seems that the Honda company is preparing another new model – the Honda Elevate compact crossover. There’s only one teaser image at the moment, but there’s already plenty of information on the web about this model, which is set to make its official debut in early summer.

First, it is expected to use the platform of the already known sedan Honda City. Similarly, with the power unit: the Honda Elevate crossover should get a gasoline 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of about 120 hp, which will work in tandem with manual transmission or a CVT variator. A hybrid version may appear later.

Secondly, the car will be quite compact – the total length of the Honda Elevate should be 4.2-4.3 meters. However, despite its compactness, the crossover should receive modern equipment: a large display in the cabin, LED headlights, driver assistance systems (such as lane control).

Finally, the third: the Honda Elevate will initially be launched in the Indian market, but will eventually become a global model. An acceptable cost will also help in this: it is expected to start from $14-15 thousand, and the maximum versions should cost no more than $25 thousand.
