The month has almost come to an end, which means that the time has come for the traditional announcement of the distribution of games in the PS Plus service for the next month. So, in May, all subscribers of all tariffs, including the basic PS Plus Essential, will be able to add the following titles to their library:

GRID Legends (PS4, PS5)
The latest part in Codemasters’ GRID series of driving simulators, released last February on all major platforms, is now available for EA Play subscribers. GRID Legends received generally good reviews from critics, but players were more skeptical.

Chivalry 2 (PS4, PS5)
Probably the most interesting offer of May. Chivalry 2 is a first-person and third-person multiplayer slasher game that recreates epic medieval battles. Chivalry 2 supports cross-platform play and, among other things, is available in the Game Pass service from Microsoft, so there will be no particular problems with finding players.

Descenders (PS4)
Descenders is a mountain bike descent video game with fairly arcade-like gameplay and procedurally generated levels. The game is not new – it was released on PC back in 2019, the release on PS4 took place a year later. On Steam it has extremely favorable player reviews (95%+), but on Metacritic, the critical score is more relaxed at around 75/100 across all major platforms.

The distribution will start on May 2, and the preliminary offer is still valid: for now, all interested parties still have time to get in PS Plus games of April. As a reminder, these are Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker and Tails of Iron.
