MMO action/RPG Warframe still feels good even 10 years after the release of the original game. Digital Extremes continues to support and develop the project and presents a major update The Duviri Paradox, which will allow new players to join the game without going through standard quests.

This time, when the player starts Warframe for the first time or returns to the game after a break, they will be offered two paths to begin their story: The Warframe Path or The Paradox Path. Both paths will eventually converge, but the choice is yours.

If you choose Path of the Paradox, you can play the Drifter (who appears to be played by Pedro Pascal) and immediately experience everything that The Duviri Paradox expansion has to offer. Warframe’s path begins with the Awakening quest, a traditional Warframe start to the game.

In the story of the expansion, the Drifter is trapped in Duviri, stuck between life, death, and rebirth for the amusement of the mad king Dominus Thrax. The player must find the answer to return to normality and avoid the paradox.

Duviri is the home of a tyrant whose mood affects the world. Depending on Dominus Thrax’s worldview, Duviri will change appearance, turning the swirling skies a poisonous green of envy, or unleashing a crimson storm of rage. Each mood is a separate cycle where enemies behave and attack differently.

The Duviri Paradox is Warframe’s 33rd major update since the game’s release. The update was released on April 26, 2023, simultaneously on all platforms, which are Windows PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
