The new wireless Beats Studio Buds+ unexpectedly appeared on Amazon, although Apple has not yet officially announced the new product. The page was quickly removed, but we can already evaluate the specifications and design of the gadget.
One of the main features of Beats Studio Buds+ will be a new transparent design that somewhat resembles Nothing Ear (2). More classic versions will also be available – in black and ivory. In general, the design is almost no different from the original Studio Buds, which were released in 2021.
Beats Studio Buds+ remain a more sporty alternative to AirPods Pro and have a more compact form without a “leg”. With enlarged microphones and modified vents, Studio Buds+ offer 1.6 times more effective active noise cancellation and 2 times better transparency than the original Studio Buds. Battery life has also improved — up to 36 hours with a case, compared to 24 hours for its predecessor.
Studio Buds+ have IPX4 protection against moisture. The set comes with ear pads in sizes XS, S, M, and L. If the information on the Amazon page is correct, the earbuds will go on sale on May 18 for $169.95.
