Do you still remember the existence of such a segment as “B-class hatchback”? One of its perennial leaders – the Renault Clio car – has just been updated.

The novelty is very easy to recognize by its completely changed “face”: a new front bumper has appeared, the radiator grille has increased, the headlights have become narrower, and parallel lines of running lights are placed under them. However, the changes in the rear are less noticeable: new lights are installed, and the new sporty version of the Esprit Alpine still has a decorative diffuser. By the way, this version is distinguished by logos on the front fenders and original 17-inch wheels.

In addition, the sporty version of Renault Clio received its own interior: seats with advanced lateral support, decorative logos in the form of the letter “A”, dark fabric with blue stitching.

Although generally speaking, the interior remained the same. Only new trim options have been added that use fabric from recycled materials. Depending on the version, the new Renault Clio hatchback can boast not only sports seats, but also a digital instrument panel (7- or 10-inch) and a multimedia system with a touch screen (7 or 9.3-inch).

In addition, customers are offered a choice of engines: gasoline 3-cylinder 1-liter naturally aspirated (65 hp) or its turbo variant (90 hp), LPG modification (100 hp) or 1.5 – liter turbodiesel for 100 hp. The most powerful option is a hybrid, which combines a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors – a total of 145 hp.

Sales of the updated Renault Clio car will start in Europe in the fall of this year. Would you like to see it in Ukraine?
