The MG company showed its new electric car – and it is a stylish 2-seater roadster MG Cyberster. It may seem that the novelty is made only as a “show car” to attract attention. However, in fact, it is a respect for the historical traditions of the MG company, which has been producing classic sports roadsters for quite some time.
Currently, it is known from official information that the MG Cyberster electric car will be available for purchase already in the summer of 2024. The design is also known, because the official images of the new MG Cyberster have been released, and this design turned out to be very attractive.
Nothing is officially known anymore: they say, “wait for the start of sales.” However, unofficially, there has already been a lot of information about the new MG Cyberster. For example, about the dimensions of the electric car: a 4.5-meter overall length and a 2.69-meter wheelbase are expected.
There was also information about the preparation of two versions of the new MG Cyberster. The basic version will get rear-wheel drive and an electric motor of 231 kW or 314 hp. The maximum version will offer all-wheel drive and two electric motors with a total power of about 400 kW or 544 hp. – this should be enough to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in three seconds.
So, is the MG Cyberster electric car worth the wait?
