The Jeep company periodically participates in festivals of its fans, and does not come empty-handed: they usually prepare various special versions of cars and interesting concepts.
And this year, the company has prepared several original modified cars, among which the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 concept is especially worth paying attention to – it’s a real “highlight”! After all, in accordance with its name, the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 concept received an electric motor (where, of course, there are magnets); and this is already the third embodiment of the idea of an electric SUV.
At first, the idea of an electric off-road vehicle appeared, then power was added to it. But this time, they made it possible to choose two modes of operation of the electric motor (285 or 650 hp), adjust the intensity of recuperation, and also implemented a hill descent control system and “one pedal” control thanks to the electric drive.
In addition, the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 concept is noticeably different in design. The developers increased the door openings for access to the interior (there are no doors at all), tilted the front glass, and added a powerful frame behind. A transparent window was added in the hood, and numerous blue decorations were placed on the body. Looks cool!
However, it seems that the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 concept was created not only for fun and excitement but also as a test prototype for testing the electric drive. The development of various concepts of the Magneto series may be used in the future for the serial electric SUV Jeep Recon.
