The release of the new “zelda” – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – is very close, the game should be released in less than 2 months. So far, the developer has not been very willing to share the details of his new project, limiting themselves to small trailers, such as during February presentation Nintendo Direct.

And finally, the producer of The Legend of Zelda series Eiji Aonuma spoke in detail about the gameplay of Tears of the Kingdom in a new, almost 14-minute video. First, he announced that the development of the game has already been completely completed, after which he took the gamepad in his hands and, using his own example, showed how the new “zelda” is played.

From the video, you can see how the world has changed — Sky islands have appeared in the sky, which Link can reach with the help of a new ability, Recall. Also, Link can now combine different items and create new weapons and even vehicles with the Fuse ability. And with Ascend, he’ll now be able to…penetrate all over the ceiling in buildings, caves, etc. It seems like Tears of the Kingdom will have a little less climbing.

As a reminder, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12, exclusively on Nintendo Switch, and it will be the first Nintendo game to cost $70.
