HP has updated the gamer lines of Victus and Omen laptops

HP has announced a number of updated laptops that belong to the Victus and Omen gaming series.

Victus is a more budget gaming line of devices. Despite this, the updated Victus 16 model is now available with an RTX 4070 graphics card. It can work in conjunction with an Intel Core i7-13700HX or AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor. These are top-of-the-line chips, so you can expect high laptop performance. However, simpler variants with Core i5 / Ryzen 5 and RTX 3050 / 4050 / 4060 will also be available.

Victus 16 is equipped with a 16.1″ display. Configurations with 1080p (60/144/165 Hz) and 1440p (165/240 Hz) panels are available. There is an HDMI port, USB-C, three USB-A, RJ45, a slot for SD cards, 3.5 mm audio jack. The laptop is offered in three colors: Ceramic White, Performance Blue, and Mica Silver. The price starts at $1,049.

HP Omen Transcend 16 received a Mini LED display with a peak brightness of up to 1180 nits, a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. This is a thin and light gaming laptop that is available in versions with Intel Core i9-13900HX and RTX 4070, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB NVMe SSD.

The Omen Transcend 16 will go on sale at a price starting at $1,669.

The regular version of Omen 16 also received an upgrade. It can be purchased in a configuration with an Intel Core i9-13900HX, but also with an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor. Regarding the video adapter, options up to and including RTX 4080 are available. The Quad HD display has a refresh rate of 240 Hz. You can choose up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD.

The HP Omen 16 is available for purchase starting at $1,299.
