Will we ever see cars like this again? After all, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 super coupe represents the real “American power” of a gasoline V8 with a compressor: it consumes buckets of fuel, but gives a lot of emotions!

Dodge is currently saying goodbye to the Challenger, and in honor of this, released several special versions of the model over the past year – they differ in color scheme, various stickers and decor. However, the new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 attracts not so much with its design as with its technology.

After all, under the hood of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 car hides a 6.2-liter Hemi engine with reinforced parts. All in order to squeeze out 910 hp. or even 1035 hp. capacity (when running on E85 fuel with 85% ethanol content). Similarly, a reinforced automatic transmission, drive shafts, Mickey Thompson slick tires, and a front brake lock-up system for burn-out were added. And as an option, a parachute and a frame in the cabin are offered.

This is not a joke, but a necessity: the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 coupe can cover a quarter of a mile in 8.9 seconds. And the acceleration from 0-60 mph takes only 1.66 seconds – that is, such a car will definitely be able to reach the usual hundred km/h in less than two seconds.

In total, only 3,300 copies of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 coupe should be produced. Moreover, the price is quite moderate, as for the declared indicators – only $97,000.
