For the Peugeot company in Ukraine, the compact SUV 2008 is one of the bestsellers: it offers a combination of bright design, modern technologies, controllability and comfort, as well as a wide range of engines – gasoline and diesel. An electric motor can also be added to this list. After all, sales of the Peugeot e-2008 electric car are about to start in Ukraine.
Externally, the Peugeot e-2008 novelties clearly position themselves in the Peugeot 2008 model line: recognizable outlines of headlights and lights in the style of “lion’s claws”, deleted lines on the front and rear doors, a wide radiator grille. The electric car has its own designation in the form of a stylized letter “e”. In addition, digital displays are installed in the Peugeot i-Cockip 3D interior – they have original graphics that reflect the state of the electric car.
The biggest changes, of course, are hidden in the middle of the Peugeot e-2008 electric car: under the hood is a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor that provides acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds and a top speed of 150 km/h. The built-in 50 kWh battery provides an autonomous range of up to 330 km (WLTP). It will take about five hours to fully charge the battery when using a Wallbox charging station. Also, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes thanks to stationary “fast” DC charging.
Electric SUV Peugeot e-2008 will be offered in Ukraine only in one version, but in the maximum GT configuration. This equipment includes: ABS and ESP systems, adaptive cruise control, collision warning system and emergency braking in the urban driving cycle “Active Safety Brake”, “Lane Positioning Assist”, rear view camera, front and rear sensors, parking, Full LED headlights, “High Beam Assist”, Peugeot i-Cockpit interior and 3D cluster of instrument panels, multimedia system with a 10-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple Car Play, etc.
The price of the new PEUGEOT e-2008 GT in Ukraine starts at UAH 1,369,000.
