A couple of weeks ago, Paradox announced several new projects, including Life by You, but then the company didn’t say anything about the game. And now, finally, the first trailer has been released, along with some information about the new “life simulator”.

Life by You looks like a direct competitor to the most famous game in this genre, The Sims. This is not surprising, because its development is led by Rod Humble – former executive vice president of EA Play and head of The Sims label. He was also at one time the executive director of Linden Labs, the developer of Second Life, and participated in the development of The Sims 2 and The Sims 3.

The game will be distinguished from The Sims by, among other things, (even) more options for customizing homes, appearance, careers, real conversations, etc. The developer promises that Life by You will be the “most open” life simulator for which it will be extremely easy to create custom modifications.

Life by You is developed by Paradox Tectonic’s in-house studio, the game will be released only on PC – on Steam and Epic Games Store, (the game can already be pre-ordered in EGS for UAH 699), early access is planned to open on September 12.
