After yesterday’s images of Pixel 8 Pro, renderings of the younger Pixel 8 model have also been published online. The device will differ little from its predecessor, but there are still some differences.

In particular, the smartphone body will get more rounded corners, just like the Pixel 8 Pro. The frames around the display should be slightly reduced. The screen itself will also be smaller – it is reported that its diagonal will be 6.2″, which is one-tenth of an inch smaller than the Pixel 7’s display.

Pixel 8 dimensions: 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9 mm. This makes the smartphone 5.1 mm shorter, 2.4 mm narrower and 0.2 mm thicker than the Pixel 7. The camera unit, as before, will consist of two modules (main and ultra-wide-angle). But there is no new sensor under the flash, as in the Pixel 8 Pro.

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to be announced this fall. However, we can see a small teaser from Google during the I/O 2023 conference, which will take place on May 10.
