A VPN is a tool that is designed to mask a user’s IP address. This way, sites, and apps can’t collect information about your location and track your online activity.

Previously, access to Google VPN was only available to owners of Google One subscriptions, which cost starting $9.99 / month. From now on, all plans offer VPN access, including $1.99 / month (100 GB) and $2.99 / month (200 GB) options. Google notes that users will receive the new functionality within several weeks.

VPN is currently available on Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows platforms in 22 countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Great Britain and the USA.

All paid Google One subscriptions now have VPN access, but only in 22 countries

In addition, Google introduced a tool for tracking personal data on the dark web. If the system finds any important data about you, it will send a warning so that you can protect the information.
