Ukrainian studio Wild Fields announced Speed Crew, a co-op party game in a car racing setting for Nintendo Switch. And this is not a racing simulator or an arcade. In Speed Crew, players will become a team of mechanics in the pit lane, whose task is to repair racing cars as quickly as possible and return them to the track.

On the day of the race, the mechanics will need to cope with a whole series of tasks, including changing tires, refueling, and straightening the body with the help of… a sledgehammer. Most types of repairs consist of several stages. In addition, the pit stop team will have to contend with a dynamic environment. Moving floors, sudden earthquakes, weather changes, closed gates, etc. will interfere with them.

Judging by the description, each pit stop will be a unique and varied chaos that players must deal with alone or in a team of four players. A team can be created both on one console and online, regardless of the location of your friends. Hmm, sounds like a good warm-up party game before or right after watching a real car race.

To make pit stops look different, Speed Crew provides customization of characters and vehicles. The authors were inspired by the golden era of motorsport and offer championships from different eras: from the 1970s to the 2000s, where style was as important as speed.

Speed Crew will be available on Nintendo Switch from June 6, 2023, and will also be released on Windows PC, Playstation, and Xbox by the end of 2023. You can follow the game on Twitter or on Discord.
