The National Women’s Soccer League will debut in FIFA 23 in less than a week. Electronic Arts has announced that all 12 NWSL teams will be available to players on March 15.

The company has entered into a partnership with the league and the NWSL Players Association, thanks to which all female soccer players and clubs will be licensed not only in FIFA 23, but also in subsequent versions of the game, which from next year will be called EA Sports FC.

Let me remind you that FIFA 23 had 24 women’s teams at the time of the release of the simulator. The clubs are representatives of the English and French championships. In addition, a female soccer player – Australian Sam Kerr from the women’s Chelsea team – appeared on the cover of the game for the first time.

The new women’s teams will be available to play in a variety of modes, including friendlies, tournaments and online seasons. If two teams from the NWSL play, players will see the “authentic” broadcast of the match.

EA will also add four new European women’s teams: Real Madrid, Wolfsburg, Juventus and Eintracht. They can be used to play regular friendly matches, or to organize the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL).
