Fool’s Theory studio and publisher 11 bit studios have shown some gameplay of the recently announced role-playing game The Thaumaturge, the events of which take place in Warsaw in 1905.

Judging by the short trailer, the game mechanics of The Thaumaturge are almost the same as in any role-playing game in an isometric perspective – exploring the world, communicating with NPCs and fighting enemies. The combat system seems to be a mix of a jRPG combat system and a card game, which relies on using the abilities of mystical creatures – powerful salutors. The authors promise players a full-fledged role-playing game with character development mechanisms that allow you to approach situations in different ways, make your own choices and face their consequences.

We remind you that The Thaumaturge is not yet available, it already has pages on all platforms – Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. So you can add the game to your wish list and follow the updates.
