Despite the fact that more than six years have passed since the release of No Man’s Sky, the developer does not stop supporting it and continues to release regular updates. Thanks to this they managed to gradually change the attitude of players toward their game. We will remind you that initially, the reaction of the gaming community was extremely negative due to the fact that the game did not have much of what was promised by the studio Hello Games during development. However, No Man’s Sky is currently doing very well with ratings: on Steam its rating is 75% for all time and 85% – for the last month.

Another big update, No Man’s Sky Fractal (version number 4.1) is the first this year and about the thirtieth (!) in total. It adds the Utopia Speeder ship to the game and a new Utopia Expedition in which players must rebuild an abandoned solar system using the expedition’s exclusive crafting mechanics. Also in this update, there is a “catalogue of achievements” – Wonders Catalogue, which collects information about your discoveries on various planets.

No Man’s Sky Fractal also implements PlayStation VR 2 support. The developer actually added virtual reality to the game back in 2019, in the Beyond (2.0) add-on, and now players will get full support for the functionality of the new headset: helmet feedback, “multitool” control, and other operations using the Sense controllers, head position tracking, etc.

In addition, No Man’s Sky Fractal adds support for gyroscope control in the Switch, PlayStation, and Steam Deck versions, with the addition of Nexus and Quicksilver exclusive missions on Switch.
