It looks like Google is getting closer and closer to the release of its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold. A new batch of information has appeared on the network, which relates to the dimensions of the device and its battery.

We recently reported that the Pixel Fold mockup got the to one of the bloggers, who showed an approximate design of the device. Pixel Fold will be more like Oppo Find N2 than Samsung Galaxy Fold4 in terms of dimensions. The height of the devices will be about 140 mm, but the Pixel Fold will be 7 mm wider – about 80 mm. The Galaxy Fold4, for comparison, is 155.1mm tall and 67.1mm wide when folded.

The Pixel Fold will be heavier than the Galaxy Fold4, but will have a larger battery

The Pixel Fold will also weigh more than the Galaxy Fold4, which weighs 263g (the Find N2 weighs even less at 237g). However, this should be due to the presence of a larger battery. The exact number is not mentioned, it should be “closer to 5000 mAh” than the competition (the Fold4 has a 4400 mAh battery, and the Find N2 has a 4520 mAh battery). It can be assumed that the smartphone from Google will have a battery of about 4700 mAh.
