Carscoops presents the first spy photos of Skoda Kodiaq new generation – now in its own body. After all, earlier there were only “mules”-prototypes in modified bodies. Currently, the Skoda Kodiaq SUV is completely covered with a camouflage film, but some design solutions are already clear.

For example, the new Skoda Kodiaq will receive an almost vertical radiator grille with wide slats and a branded “lip” of the hood. The front bumper will have air vents on the edges, and you can also see two-section lights.

It is expected that the novelty will be built on the MQB platform and will generally receive the technology of its predecessor, which will be evolutionary improved. One of the most interesting options should be a PHEV hybrid that combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. This version will offer a power of about 272 hp. and the ability to make short trips exclusively on electric drive.

The debut of the all-new Skoda Kodiaq is expected by the end of this year. Then we will be able to see the final design of the car and learn all the technical details.
