9to5Mac has shared exclusive renders of the iPhone 15 Pro, which are based on a CAD model of the device (such files are usually received by factories that make cases for smartphones). The images show a noticeable difference in design compared to last year’s Apple flagship.

New renders of the iPhone 15 Pro show thinner bezels, a more rounded body and a USB-C port

The first most noticeable difference is, of course, the presence of a USB-C port, which replaces Lightning. This is quite a significant event for Apple, so probably the company will devote a separate part of its presentation to it. By the way, a live photo showing the USB-C port in the iPhone 15 Pro also appeared on the Internet.

The body of the smartphone will get more rounded edges. This applies to both the metal frame and the protective glass, which will receive a small 2.5D effect. In this way, it will be more comfortable to hold the device in your hand. Also, the design of the volume buttons and the mute control will change a little.

iPhone 15 Pro may receive titanium case

The protrusion of the camera unit will increase again, so you can count on their upgrade. The principle of their arrangement will remain unchanged – three camera modules and a LiDAR sensor in a rectangular block.

The bezels around the display will be thinner, so the dimensions of the device will probably become smaller by several millimeters. The size of the Dynamic Island will remain the same as in the iPhone 14 Pro.
