This is quite an interesting solution, because the earbuds are hidden inside the body of the smartwatch. To get them, you need to press the button on the lower end, which will open the device. Earbuds are extremely compact, their weight is less than 4 grams. There is support for active noise reduction technology.

It is obvious that the thickness of the Watch Buds case is greater than other Huawei smartwatches. For example, the Watch GT 3 Pro is 10.9 mm thick, while the Watch Buds are 14.99 mm thick. Despite this, the gadget does not look very bulky. Instead, battery life has seriously decreased. If the Watch GT 3/3 Pro line offers 7 to 14 days of battery life, the Watch Buds only 3 days. As for the earbuds, they can work up to 4 hours without the noise canceling function and up to 3 hours with it.

A feature of the earbuds is support for “auricle touch control”. Due to the fact that the earbudscase is small, it is not very convenient to press on them. Instead, Huawei offers to control the playback of music or answer calls with a simple touch to the skin of the ear. Similar technology is used in Sony Linkbuds earbuds.

As for the smartwatch, it has a 1.43″ AMOLED display (466×466 dots), GPS, Bluetooth, NFC modules, moisture protection according to IP54 class. The device can measure pulse, blood oxygen level, monitor the quality of the user’s sleep, etc. Huawei’s own operating system is used, the watch works with both Android and iOS smartphones.
