TP-Link has released two new entry-level robot vacuum cleaners. The Tapo RV10 and Tapo RV10 Lite models are priced at $250 and $230, respectively, and offer quite a bit of functionality.

The new budget robot vacuum cleaner from TP-Link only needs to be cleaned once every two weeks

Tapo RV10 is able to carry out not only dry, but also wet cleaning. The device is equipped with a 300 ml water container and an electronic pump. The volume of the dust container is 400 ml. The younger model does not have a wet cleaning function, but it has twice the size of the dust container – 800 ml. The company claims you only have to clean it twice a month.

The novelties do not have a LiDAR system, collision avoidance or the ability to create a map of the room. Instead, they use a navigation system using a gyroscope. Assistants methodically move along a zigzag route, covering the entire floor area.

The maximum power of dust traction is 2000 Pa. Four traction modes are provided, including a quiet mode with an operating volume of no more than 53 dB. Both models have the Tapo application for Android and iOS, and also support work with voice assistants Alexa and Google Assistant. The battery capacity is 2600 mAh, which is about three hours of cleaning from one charge. When the battery is low, the device automatically connects to the charging dock, recharges and continues.
