Meet the new large Toyota Grand Highlander SUV, which fully lives up to its name – it is even bigger than the already large Toyota Highlander. By the way, despite the similarity of the name, the new Toyota Grand Highlander received a completely unique design.
But the equipment is familiar. The Toyota Grand Highlander SUV is built on the TNGA-K platform, it can have front or all-wheel drive. And 4-cylinder engines are installed under the hood – either a 2.4-liter “turbo” (269 hp) or a 2.5-liter as part of a hybrid system, which has a total capacity of 246 “horses”. The novelty is the Hybrid Max version, which is distinguished by its own front bumper and wheels, as well as a very powerful power unit – 362 hp.
In addition, the Toyota Grand Highlander SUV can offer increased space inside. Moreover, the interior can be 7- or 8-seater: there is a version with two separate “captain’s” chairs in the second row of seats. Also, depending on the configuration, there is a 12.3-inch touch display, a digital 7- or 12.3-inch instrument panel, “advanced” climate control (for rear passengers as well), a lot of cup holders and USB.
It is currently unknown whether the Toyota Grand Highlander model will remain only for the US market or will go global. But surely fans of “space from Toyota” can be found in Ukraine too, right?
