Last summer, Netflix began using surround sound technology for movies from its library, which does not require the user to have special equipment. First, the new feature could be tested while watching the fourth season of Stranger Things and several other movies. Now, the streaming service has announced that surround sound technology is available for more than 700 of its most popular movies and series, including The Watcher, Wednesday, and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

It will not be difficult to find a movie with support for surround sound, because the corresponding films and series have received a special badge. Or you can enter “spatial audio” in the search to see a list of all movies that support the technology. In the coming months, the list will be updated with films such as You, Your Place or Mine, Luther: The Fallen Sun, and Tour de France.

I would like to note that the surround sound technology is available only to owners of a premium subscription to Netflix. Also, they can now download content to two additional devices (for a total of six devices).
