At the Developer_Direct presentation held by the Xbox and Bethesda development teams, among other games a new part of the famous car simulator Forza Motorsport was also shown. After announcing the game back in 2020, little was said about it all these years, and now Turn 10 Studios has finally released a big video from the developer, sharing some details about the project and showing some real gameplay.

The developer claims that the new Forza Motorsport (yes, without the number in the title) is “the most technically advanced racing game of all time.” On release day, the game will feature more than 500 different cars, more than 800 unique upgrades for them, and 20 locations (five new to the series) with different track options in each. The developer promises both an online mode and a single-player career mode focused on “building cars” (without explaining what that might mean).

Cars will have the most realistic appearance thanks to better lighting effects on different materials, context-sensitive damage and dirt accumulation. Forza Motorsport will support 4K@60 fps and ray tracing not only in replays but also during races.

Forza Motorsport is due out this year on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Microsoft Store and Steam), and the game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
