We have already talked about the debut of the Hyundai Kona model second generation. But here are more details and details about this car.

First, the novelty will increase in size: the new generation Hyundai Kona has a length of 4.35 meters (+150 mm) and a 2.66-meter wheelbase (+60 mm). Secondly, as before, the SUV will be offered in three variants: gasoline, hybrid, and electric. Moreover, these options differ in the design of the front bumper, overlays on the wheel arches, and the design of the wheels. In addition, the N Line variant will be offered, which will also receive an original design.

The third is engines. Currently, it is known about the gasoline 2-liter version of the Hyundai Kona: the power is 149 hp. and IVT variator, front-wheel drive. An alternative is a gasoline 1.6-liter T-GDI engine developing 198 hp. and works in a pair with an 8-speed automated transmission, the drive can be front or full. Finally, the third option is a hybrid: a gasoline 1.6-liter GDi engine (105 hp) plus an electric motor (44 hp) give a total of 141 horses, sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed transmission. The technical specifications of the electric versions have not yet been made public – but let us remind you that the first-generation Hyundai Kona SUV could offer two electric modifications at once.

Salons are also different. They are generally united by a concept using two 12.3-inch displays and a design similar to the interior design of the IONIQ 5. However, the trim and color scheme differ, depending on the configuration and version.

The new Hyundai Kona SUV has already started sales in South Korea. And within a year, the new product is expected to appear on the US and European markets – we are also waiting for a new car in Ukraine!
