Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad’ informed about the transfer of the last, eighth, 155-mm ZUZANA 2 self-propelled gun, which was built as part of the agreement signed between Ukraine and Slovakia in June 2022.

“Slovakia stands firmly by Ukraine that is still fighting illegal aggression. Already the 8th ZUZANA 2 howitzer is now safe in the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!” wrote Mr. Nad’.

But these are not the last ZUZANA 2 self-propelled guns for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In October 2022, the governments of Germany, Denmark, and Norway decided to provide funds for the production of 16 more new ZUZANA 2 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Delivery of these howitzers is planned for 2023.

Thank you, Slovakia, Germany, Denmark and Norway!

Ukraine has already received 8 ZUZANA 2 self-propelled guns from Slovakia. Another 16 howitzers will arrive during 2023
