It became known that the governments of Germany, Denmark, and Norway will provide funds for the production of 16 new 155-mm ZUZANA 2 wheeled self-propelled guns for the Armed Forces of Ukraine Delivery of howitzers is planned for 2023.

The Minister of Defense of Germany Christine Lambrecht and the Minister of Defense of Slovakia Jaro Nad announced about the agreement between Germany, Denmark, Norway and Slovakia, which actually produces the ZUZANA 2 self-propelled guns. The value of the contract is 92 million euros.

We remind you that the 155-mm self-propelled gun ZUZANA 2 on a wheeled chassis TATRA 8×8 has a barrel length of 52 calibers, which allows you to increase the firing range to 40.2 km. In addition, the howitzer has an automatic loader and can fire in the MRSI mode, when several shells hit the target almost simultaneously.

In June 2022, Ukraine and Slovakia have already signed a contract for the supply of 8 self-propelled 155-mm self-propelled guns ZUZANA 2.
