The new generation of Honda CR-V is gradually walking around the planet. After the debut of Honda CR-V in the USA, the Chinese also received this car – but under their own name Honda Breeze and with local production, Carscoops reports.
It is interesting that the matter was not limited to just changing the name. Honda Breeze car received the original front part: headlights and bumper, radiator grille. Also, the decoration of the rear bumper and lights has changed slightly, original wheels have been installed, and the overlays have been painted in the color of the body. After all, changes to the bumpers led to an increase in dimensions – the length of the Honda Breeze model is 4.72 m.
Some differences are also noticeable in the interior: at least the trim materials have been changed. Although the overall design of the front panel and center console remained similar to the Honda CR-V. By the way, as well as the range of power units: the car will start with a gasoline 1.5-liter “turbo” (193 hp and 243 Nm), later a hybrid version is promised. A 5- or 7-seater interior and four-wheel drive are also promised.
The start of sales of the new Honda Breeze model should take place before the end of this year, but the hybrid will have to wait until 2023. The cost of the car starts at $27,000. Would you buy it for yourself?
